"Managing the Psychological Consequences of Disasters and Terrorism Events" Disaster and Terrorism Events: Toward an Integrated Model.


This presentation will include information on enhancing disaster management capabilities of Telehealth and informatics systems, improving cross border informatics to identify vulnerable populations in disaster, dialogues on resource tracking tools and electronic medical records, and building structure for regional Telehealth systems.  This presentation will cover awareness of mental health issues in disaster response, awareness of persons affected by disasters, awareness of events that can lead to mental health issues, awareness of public health approach to the management of disaster and combat mental health issues, and awareness of recommendations on the needs of families and children in the event of a bioterrorism event.
