The Bioterrorism Training and Emergency Preparedness Curriculum was developed to educate students and the public on information regarding bioterrorism preparedness and emergency response.
Bioterrorism preparedness and response requires coordination between public health, clinicians, emergency management, first responders and law enforcement officials. This module will include an overview of the incident command system to manage emergency response. Bioterrorism should be addressed as a part of an agency's overall emergency response plan, this module will summarize public health policies, procedures, awareness of relevant laws and the coordination of resources for education and training.
