Emergency Preparedness: The Basics

Description: Health professionals should be aware of their institutions's emergency response system and protocols.  Upon completing this module clinicians will have a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities durign a public health emergency, including their role within the Hospital Incident Management System (HICS), a unified response system operating nationwide.  The course also addresses communication, safety, family preparedness, stress management, and resource related issues.
