Population Health Protection and Information Infrastructure--Online Course

Description: The aim of this Free Online CE Course is to understand why, what, and how information infrastructure is needed to protect population health. The course looks at the current detection system and examines what is needed in a detection system, as well as, biodefense information infrastructure requirements.

In the exploration of what information infrastructure is needed to protect population's health the National Health Information Infrastructure (NHII) is discussed and examined on its vision, elements, and requirements. The final element to this course discusses the path of how to build health information infrastructure in a community. This course is designed for all healthcare professionals.
