Description: The aim of this Free Online CE Course is to discuss the roles of health providers in planning, preparedness, education, and communication needed for emergency response and consequence management.

This course also focuses on where and how radiological and nuclear incidents occur, as well as hazard analysis, risk analysis, and risk assessments required for emergency response and consequence management. The course also includes a basic overview of radiation physics, and it identifies medical issues associated with specific types of radiation events. This course is designed for all healthcare professionals.
