Bioterrorism Training for Primary Care Providers

Description:  An overview of bioterrorism and description of agents of most concern; description of 4 syndromic presentations (Cutaneous, pulmonic, septic, neurologic) with prevention and treatment options.  The course objectives are to identify the six CDC bioterrorism agents of most concern. Describe four common syndromic presentations of bioterrorist agents.  Describe the prevention and initial management of exposed patients, including isolation and list the mechanisms for event reporting and resource utilization.
